Sci-fi doesn't show you the rejects. The shows about the future try to make out that everyone is a hero, that there is no danger that can't be overcome and that every spaceship commander is an unflappable square chinned genius.

This is clearly wrong.

The Enterspace is no such ship. Size of a small city and built for four hundred but crewed by seven misfits and on a mission to cause as little trouble as possible.

By the end of week one they've started the universe and caused the French revolution.

Still, never mind eh.

So join Luke, James, Dudley, Ben, Jenny, Baggage and Alex as they travel back and forth in time, discover a planet filled with Bens, experience a very traditional Christmas and encounter the ultimate in evil, the remorseless Cabbage collective.
